BE PATIENT

MESSAGE TITLED: BE PATIENT Some times i feel like jumping out of my skin, than slowing down time so i could be faster than it. but deep down within i hear that voice, "BE PATIENT". i get agitated when others get ahead of me, i almost feel like over taking them just to show them that I'm no push over, but deep within i hear that voice, "BE PATIENT". That girl/boy was in secondary school when i finished university, but now he/she is driving a jeep, cruising around town as though he/she owned all the roads but here am i cruising my feet and with each revolution of her tires, my heart pounds with anger. i ask "God where are u?" and he says "BE PATIENT" So i sulked, withdrew an got angry with God. what kind of patience are u talking about? i could be patient and die of it, i whined. finally with one desperate cry of surrender, I said God, "I WILL BE PATIENT, just speak to me". then God spoke to me. "When i say u should be patient, it is not that i hate you, it is not because I'm indifferent to your pains, but while you wait upon me, i put many things in place. i consolidate your answered prayers. I go ahead and deal with obstacles you will face after your desires have been granted. I do not go to sleep, i am right beside you. i make all things beautiful in my time. I'm never late, so don't be scared. I give life and i take it. you won't die before your answers come, so fear not. you may not understand what I'm saying now, but with time i know you will. It's always for your own good that i say, "BE PATIENT". The period of waiting and be patience may not be too easy but will work for our own good. Your patience works strength, calmness and serenity in you. Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. (Is. 40:31) Patience is the weapon of warfare we all need to survive the challenges of this world, especially when your total confidence and trust is on God. My Brothers, my Sisters please always "BE PATIENT".

REVELATION REVEALED

SATAN’S FINAL REBELLION & Deception of the Nations. (Rev. 20:7-10)
At the close of the Millennium, Satan will be loosed from the Pit “for a little season,” and will “go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog.”

Sad to say, however, there will be a great number of rebels against Christ’s theocratic Rule. These are people born in the Millennium, but who have not been born again. Like nominal Christians, they have not embraced Christ from their hearts. The “Iron Rod” of Christ will be the only thing keeping them under subjection. Thus Satan will succeed in gaining their support in his final rebellion. In fact, Satan is released for this purpose – to sift the nominals, who in spite of the perfect environment and every opportunity to know the truth, still do not embrace the King.

Satan will foment this final revolt against God. Once again Jerusalem will be surrounded by vast armies, laying siege to the Holy City. However this will be the final death-knell of evil for all Eternity. God will completely destroy Satan’s hordes with a rain of fire from Heaven, and Satan himself, at long last, will be cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the other two members of his unholy Trinity await him, to be tormented day and night for ever!

THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT. “The Tares.” (Rev. 20:11-15)

John is shown the 5th and Final Judgment of the world. He sees a Great White Throne upon which God is seated, and from whose Face the Heaven and Earth flee away. Christ is seated upon the White Throne, for the Father has delegated all Judgment to His Son! (“For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment to the Son.”) (John 5:22)

The dead stand before God, whilst the Books, (of their Works) and other Book, the Book of Life, are opened. They are judged out of these Books according to their works.

Let us be clear about this: It is not a general judgment, but only of the unsaved who have been yielded up in the Second Resurrection. Those involved here are all doomed to die that Second Death because of their iniquity. Their names are not in the Book of Life so they must follow Satan and his cronies into Eternal Torment.

“Death and Hell” are then cast into the Lake of Fire, for this is the “Second Death,” and all of those whose names are not found written in The Book of Life are also cast into The Lake of Fire.

REVELATION REVEALED

THE NEW HEAVEN & THE NEW EARTH.
(Rev. 21) “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first … were passed away: and there was no more sea.” After the Great White Throne Judgment, God completely renovates the “heaven” and the earth by fire. 2 Peter 3:7-13 shows us this most graphically. The original Earth “perished” by water, now this earth is to “perish” by fire. The Earth has had its Baptism by Fire.
How this is to be achieved and whether is a completely new earth, is a matter of speculation, but the perfect eternal universe is to come. There will be no more sea! Today, 5/6th of the Earth’s surface is covered by waters and is not only useless to mankind, but also presents great hindrances and dangers. In the New Earth, the total surface will be available for habitation. Imagine the earth with 5 times its present land area, filled with beautiful rolling visits of parkland, streams, forests and whole prairies of flowers! And into this perfect Paradise, God will bring the Redeemed.
The Meek will at last inherit the Earth! There will be no overcrowding or disputes over territories! There will be no more sin and no more death, for Hell and Death, both, together with the Sea, (Rev. 20:13) have been done away with! God’s People are going to inhabit and dwell in the New Earth forever. This is Eternity! This is the Eighth Day – a Day of New Beginning for God and Man! HalleluYah . . . ! THE NEW JERUSALEM “And, I John saw the Holy City, New Jerusalem coming down from God out of Heaven, prepared as a Bride adorned for Her Husband . . . .
“Behold the Tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them and they shall be His people and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.” And He that sat upon the Throne said, “Behold, I make all things new . . . It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. . “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God and he shall be My Son.” The Wheel of God’s Great Plan has come full circle.
The Beginning has come to the End only to reveal a New Beginning! This is the secret of Eternity; there is no End! One of the Seven Vial Angels takes John to the top of a huge mountain and shows him the Bride, the Lamb’s Wife – “and he showed me that great City, the Holy Jerusalem, descending out of Heaven from God.”
What can this mean? The Church, those who have received Salvation from Christ, are His Bride, and they are the inhabitants of the New Jerusalem. In verse 24 we read that the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it,” and in verse 27 only those written in the Lamb’s Book of Life may enter it! That’s you and me, reader, provided we are saved! To set the final seal upon God’s Great Plan for the uniting together of Jew and Gentile, consider the gates and foundation stones of God’s New Jerusalem.
The 12 Gates are named after the 12 Tribes of Israel; the 12 Foundation Stones are named after the Lamb’s 12 Apostles! God has builded His Holy City upon the Foundations of Christ’s Disciples, and has thrown open its Gates to the Tribes of Israel! What a magnificent culmination to His Wonderful Plan! THE RIVER OF LIFE (Rev. 22) Finally John is shown a pure river of Water of Life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the Throne of God and of the Lamb.
On either side of it, John sees growing Trees of Life, bearing a different fruit for each month of the year, and the leaves have wonderful healing properties! These trees appear also to grow in the middle of the streets of the Holy City. “And there shall be no more curse: but he Throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it and His Servants shall serve Him; and they shall see His Face: and His Name shall be in their foreheads.
And there shall be no night there . . . for the Lord God giveth them Light and they shall reign for ever and ever!” “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last . . . . I, Jesus, have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.
I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and Morning Star . . . surely I come quickly”
Amen. Even so, come, Lord  (Jesus Christ).

YOUR GIFT CAN HELP PEOPLE’S LIFE

For instance, your brain can store up to 10, 000 different odours; your tongue can taste one part quinine in 2 million parts of water; your tongue can detect 1/25, 000 of an inch thickness. We all have bundles of abilities from God, our responsibility is to discover and use them.

some are good at organizing, purchasing, building, artistic work, playing instruments, cooking, designing, singing, painting, leading, preaching, teaching, writing, etc.

"WHAT ARE YOU GOOD AT?"

Locate your own field of Gift, ask yourself:- "what do i enjoy doing? - what do i think of most? - what am i passionate about? - what attracts me most? what can i do well?" Never forget, it all starts with God.

It is in Christ we find who we are and what we are living for. Surrounding your life to him is of great importance, then inquiring from him. it may take you praying, studying the words and fasting, it is worth it.

write your abilities down put them to work, you may loose them or if you don't. Your talent is what will sell you across the world. (Acts 13:36)

"Finally, for when David had served God's purpose in his generation, he fell asleep". there is no greater tribute than that. there is a purpose, an assignment for you to accomplish. Why not make hay while the sun shines.

SEVEN GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

• Wisdom: We see God at work in our lives and in the world. For the wise, the wonders of nature, historical events, and the ups and downs of life take on deeper meaning. We see God as our Father, appreciate the dignity of others, and find God in all things.

• Understanding: In understanding, we comprehend how we need to live as followers of Christ. A person with understanding is not confused by the conflicting messages in our culture about the right way to live. The gift of understanding perfects a person's speculative reason in the apprehension of truth. It is the gift whereby self-evident principles are known, Aquinas writes.

• Counsel (Right Judgment): With the gift of counsel/right judgment, we know the difference between right and wrong, and we choose to do what is right. A person with right judgment avoids sin and lives out the values taught by Jesus.

• Fortitude (Courage): With the gift of fortitude/courage, we overcome our fear and are willing to take risks as a follower of Jesus Christ. A person with courage is willing to stand up for what is right in the sight of God, even if it means accepting rejection, verbal abuse, or physical harm. The gift of courage allows people the firmness of mind that is required both in doing good and in enduring evil.

• Knowledge: With the gift of knowledge, we understand the meaning of God. The gift of knowledge is more than an accumulation of facts.

• Piety (Reverence): With the gift of reverence, sometimes called piety, we have a deep sense of respect for God and the Church. A person with reverence recognizes our total reliance on God and comes before God with humility, trust, and love. Piety is the gift whereby, at the Holy Spirit's instigation, we pay worship and duty to God as our Father, Aquinas writes.

• Fear of the Lord (Wonder and Awe): With the gift of fear of the Lord we are aware of the glory and majesty of God. A person with wonder and awe knows that God is the perfection of all we desire: perfect knowledge, perfect goodness, perfect power, and perfect love. This gift is described by Aquinas as a fear of separating oneself from God. He describes the gift as a "filial fear," like a child's fear of offending his father, rather than a "servile fear," that is, a fear of punishment. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Prov 1:7) because it puts our mindset in correct location with respect to God: we are the finite, dependent creatures, and He is the infinite, all-powerful Creator.

Comparisons and correspondences

St. Thomas Aquinas says that four of these gifts (wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and counsel) direct the intellect, while the other three gifts (fortitude, piety, and fear of the Lord) direct the will toward God.

In some respects, the gifts are similar to the virtues, but a key distinction is that the virtues operate under the impetus of human reason (prompted by grace), whereas the gifts operate under the impetus of the Holy Spirit; the former can be used when one wishes, but the latter operate only when the Holy Spirit wishes. In the case of Fortitude, the gift has, in Latin and English, the same name as a virtue, which it is related to but from which it must be distinguished.

In Summa Theologica II.II, Thomas Aquinas asserts the following correspondences between the seven Capital Virtues and the seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit:

• The gift of wisdom corresponds to the virtue of charity.
• The gifts of understanding and knowledge correspond to the virtue of faith.
• The gift of counsel (right judgment) corresponds to the virtue of prudence.
• The gift of fortitude corresponds to the virtue of courage.
• The gift of fear of the Lord corresponds to the virtue of hope.
• The gift of Reverence corresponds to the virtue of justice.

To the virtue of temperance, no Gift is directly assigned; but the gift of fear can be taken as such, since fear drives somebody to restrict himself from forbidden pleasures.

The seven gifts were often represented as doves in medieval texts and especially figure in depictions of the Tree of Jesse which shows the Genealogy of Jesus. In many such depictions the doves encircle a bust of Christ.

MESSAGE:- "MUST I GO TO CHURCH"

Good-day my Brothers and Sisters

Have you ever wondered why you should attend every church service and programme organised by the local assembly? some of these programmes are organised irrespective of their weekly activities. Sometimes one wonders if its even possible to attend all these activities year in year out. 'Is it even necessary', some may ask?

One is tempted to ask if there is anything new that we go to church to learn, after all, it is the same Bible those Born in Christian home have been hearing right from Sunday school days. We attend crusades and various programmes in diverse places; it is the same Bible, so one wonders if there is anything new in the Church. Why all the stress? Why cant we have time for other things instead of this tiring, non Church attendance?

Looking at these issues and many more, as sisters, humanly speaking one will conclude that this is a valid question, Why Attend Church? After all our responsibilities increase by the day as we grow older. Women have all kind of activities and commitments in their various families, so much that the stress of going to church can be burdensome, talk less of other organised programmes in the church. For example as a Lady;
1. You must appear presentable at all times in order to find a "Mr. Right". So you have to look for money, go to saloon, beautify yourself and so on.

2. As an unmarried Woman or Lady, you must appear for your future home by getting some thongs ready. This is a burden that is capable of taking someone's attention.

3. We have to take care of our homes and our Husbands must be comfortable so that we do not loose them to desperate women out there. This also is a serious work that takes our attention and could hinder us from attending church.

4. Some women even see their children as enough reasons for not attending church. they complain that they do not have a nanny.

5. Office work is another complaint people have. their schedules are so demanding that they do not even have time for themselves how much more church programs.

6. Some businesses have also become obstacles for some people in becoming committed to church attendance.

7. Some people say because they do not have a job, they have no money to pay transportation.

Every day of the week has so many "genuine" reasons why people do not go to church. You have to ask yourself a simple question, "Why Must I Attend Church Programmes?" Anything that you do not have a reason for, will lose its value and not attract any commitment from you.

we must all understand that in as much as we may have read the Bible from cover to cover, we've been in church for many years, fro many years might have attended Bible schools, read many Christian literatures, you may even have a satellite dish and television set watching great men and women of God daily; non of these activities is good enough to supplement or even be compared to attending your local church.

Remember that just as God planned your life according to Psalms 139:15, 16, He also programmed that you should be shepherded through certain people.

Every thing you need to make you the successful Christian that you need to become has been entrusted and made available where God connected you to be a sheep. Where you are is by divine direction and commission. You are not a member of your by accident. Nothing just happens. God will only make available what you need for your betterment in Christianity through your shepherd;
And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. (Jer. 3:1-5) anytime you miss any church programme you can be rest assured that you have made a subtraction from what God prepared for you God is not un-aware of our busy schedules.
He knows human beings will be occupied with so many activities, yet he warned against neglecting the gathering of the believers, in Hebrew 10:25. Refusal to attend church is a bad habit that God detests. It was only when the disciples and other believers continued in daily fellowship that God added to them. (Acts 2:42-43) you can only enjoy divine addition when you take church attendance seriously. Being in fellowship with other believers provokes the presence of God.
Matthew 18:20 says; “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there in the midst of them.” Thomas doubted what he was told about Jesus because he was not in fellowship the day Jesus appeared, and it has become a permanent identity for him; people always refer to others who doubted as “doubting Thomas.” (John 20:19-29).
Thomas was tagged this way because he was not in church the day Jesus visited. Maybe the day you fail to be in church will be the day Jesus will visit. I am not sure if the believers who missed who missed fellowship on Pentecost day received the blessing of the baptism with the Holy Spirit. We must all take seriously our church attendance because:- 1. Attending church is a command from God. So when we do, we express our obedience to God. (Hebrews 10:24-25). 2. Attending church is a Christian duty; therefore when you do not attend you are neglecting your responsibility. (Hebrews 10:25). 3.
Avoiding church activities and programmes is a bad habit and bad habits destroy. When you do not attend church you are destroying yourself. (Hebrews 10:25). 4. God will always visit people in a cooperate fellowship. Where two or three are gathered in my name Jesus says, “I will be there” (matt. 18:20). 5. Attending church programmes and activities makes you you accountable to your spiritual leaders and vice versa. (Hebrews 13:17) “obey your spiritual leadersand be willing to do what they say. For their work is to watch over your souls, and God will judge them on how well they do this. Give them reasons to report joyful about you to the Lord and not with sorrow, for then you will suffer for it too.”
When you continue attending church, it is an indication that you are completely submissive to your spiritual leader. You cannot be submissive when you attend different churches every week. Pastors know committed members by the way they attend church and they stand more for these faithful people that attend church than casual members. 6. Attending church activities provides fellowship with other believers.
A right relationship with God requires both “vertical” and “horizontal” alignment. To be on the winning way, you need to be consistent, dedicated, faithful and continuous church attending person. Make sure you take highly all church programmes. Being on the winning way, grants you wisdom to handle the difficult situation around you so that you can prioritize your service to God Our lives need to be transformed day by day due to the church activities and programmes.
When you see a Christian running from church to church or is not interested in church programmes, giving all kind of excuses, the devil is at work in such a life. Not long such a person will start finding faults with preachers and pastors because of the diverse teachings they hear and they may eventually stay at home, complaining about so many things. Such a Christian is on a defeat track and soon will not have a winning way.
NOTE however that, if you are in a church, where you do not notice any change in conformity to the bible, this advice does not apply to you.

Stay Tuned and remain bless...........in Jesus Name

THINGS I HAVE LEARNT wise counsel:-

(GOOD-DAY , my Dear Brothers and Sisters) 1. I have learnt that Ladies do not cross gutters or lawns. Ladies use slabs over gutters or parts around lawns. 2. I have learnt that Ladies don’t run across roads. Ladies wait till it’s convenient to walk across.3. I have learnt that ladies do not wear patterned tops over pattern skirts or trousers. Ladies wear patterns over plain clothes in coordinating colours.4. I have learnt that ladies don’t wear brooches with necklaces.5. I have learnt that ladies do not slouch. Ladies sit upright for good posture and also to prevent back pain.6. I have learnt that ladies should always wash their faces at night before going to bed.7. I have learnt that you can wear glasses or sun shades when cutting onions to avoid you eyes watering.8. I have learnt that you can put ice on a chewing gum stain to remove it from fabric.9. I have learnt to smile and compliment others. That may be what would restore hope to someone who is feeling sad.10. I have learnt to always keep my words soft and sweet, just in case I have to eat them back.Coming up: “THE ARGONY OF FOOLISHNESS” (tomorrow being the 30th May, 2012), MAY GOD ALMIGHTY BLESS YOU AND HAVE A WONDERFUL DEMOCRACY DAY.

THE AGONY OF FOOLISHNESS

Life is a product and a direct reciprocation of what is sown to it. Every action a Man takes has an effect of his Destiny (positive or negative). Foolishness, as one of such bad sides of life is characterized by lack of wisdom and and a sense of of judgment which usually result to extreme suffering, a violent mental struggle and anguish in once life. It is therefore a dreadful and a sympathetic when one journey through its path.

The parable of the ten virgins in (Matthew 25:1-13) depicts an allegory of foolish and wise virgins. both groups possess the same characteristics, they were all virgins, patiently waiting for the groom's arrival, were burning and giving light to their path, very optimistic and stationed at their duty post. All were qualified to see the groom, the only exceptional difference is that five were wise while the other five were foolish. They were called foolish because they were not wise to store oil

Suffice me to ask, do you as a Christian have enough of what it takes to meet the Master? Foolishness is a strategy by the devil to truncate your growth as a woman. The spirit of foolishness is like a spider web that controls people's life to live a carefree life and settle for less - Reduce the rate of their commitment and devotion to spiritual things. - Gossip and sow seeds of discord and competition. - Never study the Word for themselves(Not Knowing that the Word Works)

The consequences of foolishness is agony, apart from the excruciating pain of missing out and suffering eternal damnation, shame, low self-esteem, spiritual stagnation, wastage of time and talents. To avert these traces of foolishness, embrace Wisdom by constantly studying the Word of God and meditating on it day and night. (Joshua 1:8). Proverbs 14:1 says, "a wise Man/Woman buildeth her house while while the foolish one pulls it down with her own hands." what kind of Man/Woman are you: FOOLISH OR WISE?

ABOUT OUR VISION.....

I TELL U THIS, LIFE MUST NEVER BE TAKEN FOR GRANTED, AND EACH ONE OF US MUST LEARN WINNING WAYS TO MAKE OUR LIFE COUNT. BETTER BELIEVE IT, LIFE IS FOR A REASON AND ONLY FOR A SEASON.

THE 10 WINNING WAYS

THE WAY OF THE WORLD IS NOT ALWAYS THE WAY OF THE LORD, THERE ARE 10 WINNING WAYS I'D LIKE TO SHARE WITH YOU VERY BRIEFLY:

1. SALVATION
2. A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
3. PRAYER, FASTING, STUDY OF THE WORLD
4. RIGHTEOUSNESS/ LIVING RIGHT

5. OBEDIENCE
6. GIVING
7. SERVICE
8. FAITH
9. FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT
10. DISCIPLINE

EXPLANATION:

1. SALVATION: THE PERSONAL BORN AGAIN EXPERIENCE IS YOUR FIRST AND FOUNDATIONAL WINNING KEY. IF YOU REFUGE TO GET BORN AGAIN AND HAVE AN ASSURANCE OF SALVATION, YOU HAVE LOST ALREADY. (JOHN 3:18)

(2). A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD:- IT'S NOT ENOUGH TO BE BORN AGAIN, IT'S DEEPER THAN THAT. REMEMBER, IT IS ONLY THE PEOPLE THAT DO KNOW THEIR GOD THAT CAN BE STRONG, DO EXPLOITS AND NOT BE EXPLOITED. DON'T BE LIKE THE PRODIGAL SON'S ELDER BROTHER, WHO WAS SO NEAR AND YET SO FAR. HE DIDN'T SEEM TO KNOW HIS FATHER WELL ENOUGH TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ALL THE PRIVILEGES HE HAD IN HIM, THOUGH HE STAYED HOME.

(3). PRAYER, FASTING, STUDY OF THE WORD:- FOR A CLEAR PERSONAL PICTURE OF GOD, YOU CANNOT NEGLECT THESE WINNING KEYS.
(4). RIGHTEOUSNESS/LIVING RIGHT:- THE BIBLE SAYS, IT ALWAYS EXULTS A NATION, A PEOPLE OR AN INDIVIDUAL! (Proverbs 14:34)
(5). OBEDIENCE:- it is always better than sacrifice. Remember King Saul? He lost His Kingdom just by an act of disobedience. It’s not just about doing something for God, it’s about doing what God said to do, in the way, he said to do it! (1sam. 13:8-14, 1sam. 15:9-23). Doing God’s will, in God’s way, is the winning key.
(6). GIVING:- Giving in cash or in kind. Giving your Time, Energy, Resources, Love etc. I’ve heard it said that givers never lack, I add, givers never lose! A giver is always a winner (psalm 41:1-3).

(7). SERVICE:- Make yourself useful and therefore ‘Indispensible’ Dorcas in Acts 9 defied death because she made her life count. Wherever areas or aspect of services u can render, do it and target winning souls for the kingdom. Matthew 25:14-30 is clear on what God is looking out for in your service. The story of the talents shows us it’s about good, faithful service, doing the work well and giving 100% returns of whatever talent you were entrusted with in the first place.
(8). FAITH:- The Faith way is a winning way. NO one puts complete trust in Almighty God and looses out. Build up your faith, add to your faith. Whatever level of faith you started with, don’t stay there. Aim for steady spiritual growth. Mature in the things of God and you are a sure winner over every devil you meet at every level. (1peter 1:5-8)

(9). FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT:- Acquire Christ-like virtues. It’s not enough to have the gifts of the spirit; it’s more about the fruit of the Spirit as mentioned in Gal. 5:22-25. The character of God being formed in you makes you like God- A winner! Truth is, they rub off on you only as you spend time in His presence, so they are actually in reflection of your personal relationship with God.

(10). DISCIPLINE:- Discipline in every area of your life is a sure way to win. e.g. in your feeding habits, spending habits, lifestyle, family planning, dressing habits choice of friends and company kept, having person...
